Yes, the Claims Resolution Procedures require PFT reports to support this disease.

Not all the records from the bankruptcy have been supplied to the Trust.

Yes, however if you have a large number of claimants that have the same employer you may supplement occupational information on a separate document.

You may send your reply to the Trust’s mailing address or you may enter your login identification to clear your deficiency on the web site.

What happens to a claim that has an Administrative Hold?
The claim cannot be processed until the Administrative Hold is removed by the Trust.

Most common explanations include the following: the physician failed to specify the distribution of his/her findings or the findings on the most recently dated chest x-ray are unilateral.

The physician has diagnosed Asbestosis and I have provided a chest x-ray indicating bilateral pleural plaques. Why is my claim being denied?
The alleged injury is Asbestosis, which occurs in the interstitium (inside lining) of the lung.

What does it mean to defer a claim?
Deferral is an appropriate election when a claim is pressing against a statute of limitation, but the claim is not ready to review because it is missing necessary documentation.

The Trust requires written notification of the claimant's name and Social Security number and an expression of the claimant’s intent to defer the claim.

Is there a deadline when I must activate the deferred claim?
The Trust currently does not have any deadlines for when deferred claims must be activated.

The Trustees and their advisors review the payment percentage annually to ensure that there are sufficient funds to pay all current and future claimants.

You were required to file a Proof of Claim by the Bankruptcy Court on or before the established Bar Date of March 15, 1996.

The Trust cannot release information about your claim to anyone other than the authorized representative unless you appoint a "Contact" person. A Contact can retrieve information about your claim but cannot make changes to your claim. If there is a person that you would like to appoint as a Contact, request this in writing to the Trust.

What if my address changes while my claim is in the process of being evaluated?
You must notify the Trust either in writing at P.O. Box 1036, Wilmington, DE 19899-1036 or by email at helpline@celotextrust.com.

Can I change the option type of my claim after I have filed?
Yes. You must submit a request in writing. Supplemental medical and exposure information may be required.

I am an attorney representing an injured party, what should I do if my client is diagnosed with an additional injury after I have already submitted the claim form?
Provide the Trust with an amended page three of the claim form or the date of diagnosis and name of the new injury. In addition, supporting medical documents are required.

This means that your claim has been reviewed for statute of limitations compliance as outlined in Section 7.12 of the Claims Resolution Procedures and a letter was sent to you outlining why the statute was not met.
